Work through these steps to fix most hearing aid issues - most problems are solved in minutes.

Does it have power?
Place in the charger and check the charging light comes on. Leave for at least 5 minutes. For battery aids, swap in a fresh battery from your working aid to test.

Can sound get in?
Check microphone openings for debris — hairspray, makeup, or dirt. Use a dry brush to clean gently. Wipe with a dry cloth.

Can sound get out?
This is the most common cause. Check the receiver tip and dome for wax. Replace the wax guard — even if you just changed it. Watch our how-to video above.
