Our Story
At Innisfil Hearing, we believe life begins hear.
Not just with volume—but with meaning, connection, and love.
Founded in the heart of a small town, our clinic was built on a simple idea: hearing is more than sound—it’s the key to belonging. Whether it's the laughter of grandchildren, a quiet conversation with a friend, or the reassurance in a loved one’s voice, these are the moments that make life rich. And they start with hearing.
Every ear we test, every hearing aid we fit, is done with care and compassion—because we know the courage it takes to ask for help and the power of hearing to transform a life. We're not just here to fix hearing; we’re here to restore confidence, connection, and joy.
Our team takes the time to listen before we treat, and we serve with heart —because in our community, we’re not just providers. We’re neighbours, allies, and friends.

Our Values
Compassion First
We treat every patient with empathy, dignity, and patience—understanding that behind every hearing challenge is a deeply human story.
Connection Matters
We believe hearing is the gateway to connection. Our care goes beyond treatment—we help people stay connected to the people and moments they love most.
Personalized Care
Every ear is different. Every life is unique. We take time to tailor solutions that work for each individual, because hearing care should never be one-size-fits-all.
Joyful Living
Hearing well means living well. We celebrate every milestone with our patients, helping them embrace life with clarity, confidence, and joy.
Community-Rooted
We serve our neighbours, not numbers. With small-town care and big-hearted service, we aim to uplift our whole community.
Our Team.
At Innisfil Hearing, our team is small, but our hearts are big. Each of us is here because we care deeply about people - about listening with compassion, supporting with honesty, and showing up with warmth. We believe that great hearing care begins with human connection, and we're proud to be part of a community-first clinic where trust, empathy, and expert care come together. Meet the friendly faces behind the work we love.

Leila's Story
Get To Know Leila
Twenty years ago, I completed my Bachelor of Health Sciences (honours) at the University of Western Ontario. I always wanted to work in health care. I love helping people and with my father losing his hearing overnight at the age of 40, it came to the forefront to go into hearing healthcare. It was a great way to help him and others in their journey to better hearing. I completed the two-year Hearing Instrument Specialist program graduating with distinction, completed 1000 internship hours at multiple hearing clinics in the area, wrote the final licensing exam, and became a hearing instrument specialist in 2012. More recently I completed my Masters in Clinical Audiology and Hearing Therapy from University Isabel I, Spain. My masters thesis, "Neural and Cognitive Mechanisms of Speech-in-Noise: Implications for Auditory Training and Rehabilitation" was published Oct 7, 2025 to the Scholarly Journal of Otolaryngology (SJO). This thesis gives me unique insight on how the brain processes speech in noise and how patients can increase their ability to train those areas of the brain to hear better especially in noisy environments.
The specific area of audiology that fascinated me was hearing aid technology advancements. I'm passionate about finding out what the latest developments are in hearing aid innovations and bringing that to my patients while keeping it simple for the end user. I love learning about new technologies and discovering new ways on how to help people hear better. The longer I have been in the industry, the more I understand that programming hearing aids is where art meets science. When a new fitting method or style is discovered I am quick to find out more so that I am always on the leading edge of better hearing health care.
When you decide to put your hearing health into my hands, it immediately becomes my number one priority. I value the relationships I form with each patient, and believe that goes a long way in improving their health care outcomes.
I love giving patients the option of borrowing hearing aids for a few days or longer if necessary before committing to purchasing. This gives the patient an opportunity to see the benefits of hearing aids in their own environment.
I always give patients my personal cell phone number so that I can be reached even outside of office hours. I am completely committed to my patients.
